You may think this is not a reliable statement, but I am sure this will happen soon. The only requirement is to have the total support of athletic authorities. Now lets talk about the issues in hand: our elimination from the AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifications, that have raised many questions: I believe that with each game Iran women’s team got better in the primaries for AFC. We could have even ascended to the next level, if we had planed little bit better.

Shirzanan: translated by Roja Najafi: In March 2008 the International Karate Championship was held in Morocco, where Iran women’s national Karate team participated in their second international championship. In Morocco, Iran’s team obtained five colorful medals; among eight participant teams, for Iran S. Zakeri won the gold medal, Sh. Mirheidari won a silver medal and S.Malekpour, M, Afsaneh and H. Sepahi won bronze medals. Although in the first press conference after these games the deputy manager of Iran’s Karate federation declared that 26 teams were attending in Morocco championship, other sources reviled that there were only eight teams in these games. It is not clear whether the deputy manager wanted to exaggerate the women’s team’s victory or he did not know about the exact numbers. In either case many questions will be raised about the quality of these games. Iran women’s Karate team won over Mali team, and then after defeating over France team, they lost to Spain.
