Shirzanan: The first weeks of 2009 were overwhelmed with the feeling of excitement and hope; it was the beginning of a new era mark by Barack Obama’s presidency. Sally Jenkins’ article on Washingtonpost.com is a letter to President Obama that calls for a reform in sports policies. The article sees “remaking the play of America” equal to “ remaking America” that Obama has promised. How often do you exercise?

Shirzanan – Fereshteh Movahed /translated by Roja Najafi: What is a job of a sports manager? Most people think a sports manager or deputy like any other manager seats behind his or her desk, writes some letters, answers the daily correspondence, makes the schedules and plans for his/her team and give some orders. Have you ever imagined managers their exercise outfit? In Iran we seen a few deputy managers in athletic federations and most of the time they are in their offices doing their administrative job.

Our question is when a sports manager talks about athletic reform, good of exercising and healthy diet, how much of these she does herself. Let us see how are Iran’s female deputy managers in sports answer our questions. We are asking some of our questions from Mrs. Nejatizadeh the deputy manager of Iran volleyball federation in women’s affair. Nejatizadeh says, “During the time I was a coach I was physically active about 6 hours a day in most athletic fields. But unfortunately these days I am so busy with my office work that I hardly can find enough time for exercise.”
