Shirzanan examining the success factors in Iran women’s national Sanshou team

No resources, and still making history

Shirzanan:Susan Sadeghi/translation by Roja Najafi: Iran women’s national Wushu team has recorded their name in Iranian Book of Records. Zahra Karimi in 60 Kg, Razieh Tahmasbi in 56 Kg, Khadijeh Zeinalzadeh in 48 Kg and Firozeh Dehghan in 52 Kg won two silver and two bronze medals in the same order. They made history in China martial arts world championship, where more than 700 Wushu contestants from 88 countries were present.

Among world’s best Wushu player Iran women’s team performed beautifully against their powerful components from Russia, China and Vietnam. Their performance is an evidence of their improvement; their success wasn’t achieved easily and rooted in different elements. In this report Shirzanan reviews some of those factors. ........
